Shipping policy
Furniture Delivery:
• Our delivery service operates seven days a week, from 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM (excluding public holidays).
• Deliveries are available from Monday to Sunday, and all items are non-returnable.
• The delivery date and time will be determined by the transportation company, and we will try our best to accommodate your preferences.
• Each delivery service is limited to one delivery address.
• Additional handling fees may apply for delivery involving stairs or long distances. Please contact our staff for further information.
• If there is no one available to receive the delivery, the items may be left at the management office (if available) or scheduled for a redelivery. The customer will be responsible for any additional fees associated with the redelivery.
• If a delivery location requires vehicle access or parking fees, the customer will be responsible for the associated costs.
• The delivery address must allow for parking of delivery vehicles.
• If you need to change the delivery date, you must notify us at least 2 days in advance. Failure to provide notice and rescheduling without prior notification may result in additional fees for each delivery (collected by the delivery personnel).
• Please provide the delivery address and contact phone number during the purchase process.
• Any errors or omissions in the delivery information may cause delays in the delivery.
• In the event of a typhoon signal no. 8 or higher, a black rainstorm warning, or severe weather conditions, the delivery service will be canceled. Our staff will contact you to arrange a new delivery.
• Colors of the products may vary slightly from what is shown on computer screens. The actual products should be used as reference.
How long will it take to receive the ordered items?
The delivery time varies for each item. Please refer to the delivery and return arrangements provided on the product page before making a purchase. The items will be shipped directly from the manufacturer and will require international shipping and customs clearance processes. Chill Garden will provide you with real-time updates on the shipping progress of your purchased items. Thank you for your patience and support. If you have any inquiries regarding the delivery time for specific items, feel free to ask us.
Installation Service:
For products that include installation service, the delivery and the arrival of the technician may not be simultaneous. The installation time depends on factors such as traffic, the complexity of the installation, and the on-site environment. We generally recommend that customers allocate 1-2 hours of waiting time for the technician's arrival and installation.
Is there an additional fee for carrying items up stairs?
If the delivery address does not have an elevator, we will charge an estimated fee of $60-100 per item per floor. The actual charges may vary depending on the specific circumstances, so please contact our staff for more information.
If your building does not have an elevator, such as a walk-up apartment, we can still carry the items upstairs. However, you must inform us during the purchase process so that we can arrange the necessary manpower. For some large items, it may require two people to carry them upstairs.
If your items were originally scheduled for delivery upstairs but upon arrival, it is discovered that the items are too large to fit in the elevator, you can discuss with the delivery personnel whether it is possible to remove some packaging to reduce the size of the items and allow them to fit in the elevator. This may incur additional charges, which need to be negotiated with the delivery personnel on-site.
If our logistics provider is unable to deliver the items without an elevator (e.g., furniture is too wide or the elevator is not operational), Chill Garden reserves the right to cancel the delivery and determine the refund amount based on the actual incurred costs. Chill Garden reserves the right to make any necessary delivery arrangements.
Can I delay the delivery until after I move in?
First of all, congratulations on your new home! We do accept delayed delivery requests. From the date of your product purchase, we can store the items for a maximum of 3 months.
If you need to extend the storage period beyond 3 months (calculated from the date of product purchase), additional storage fees will apply. If such a situation arises, please email us at info@chill-garden.com as soon as possible, and we will make arrangements to the best of our ability. All additional charges resulting from customer requests will be borne by the customer.
