180-Day Peace-of-Mind Warranty

This warranty policy takes effect from 16 July 2026 and applies to products purchased on or after that date.

1. Coverage

Chill Garden provides a 180-day warranty, counted from the date of delivery, on the following outdoor furniture products:

  • Outdoor storage cabinets / storage sheds
  • Outdoor sofas and coffee tables
  • Outdoor dining tables and chairs
  • Loungers, sun chairs and park benches
  • Patio umbrellas and umbrella bases

The following products are NOT covered:

  • Rubbish bins / recycling bins
  • Tents and all rental services (rentals are governed by separate contract terms)
  • Folding tables and folding chairs
  • Clearance and display items (as stated at the time of purchase)

2. What Is Covered

The warranty covers manufacturing and material defects, including:

  • Structural cracking, breakage or deformation (not caused by the user)
  • Failure of welds or joints
  • Failure of moving parts such as hinges, rails, wheels and latches
  • Failure of original hardware (screws, brackets)

Once verified as covered, we will repair, send replacement parts, or replace with an equivalent product free of charge (method at our discretion).

3. What Is Not Covered

  • Damage caused by typhoons, strong winds, heavy rain, flooding or other severe weather / acts of nature (umbrellas damaged after being left open in strong wind are not covered)
  • Any fading, discolouration or staining
  • Normal wear and tear: surface scratches, oxidation, ageing of plastics
  • Mould on, or compression of, fabrics and cushions
  • Misuse, overloading, modification or unauthorised repair
  • Damage caused by assembly or installation not following the instructions (self-assembled products)
  • Corrosion caused by salt water, pool chemicals or other corrosive environments
  • Damage during moving, relocation or transfer of ownership
  • Products used outside Hong Kong

4. How to Claim

  1. WhatsApp 2898 2970 with your order number + photos or video of the issue
  2. We will respond and verify within 2 working days
  3. If covered: repair, replacement parts or replacement will be arranged free of charge
  4. If inspection shows the issue is not covered or the warranty has expired, an inspection fee of HK$350 applies; any repair or replacement will be quoted separately

The warranty applies to the original purchaser only. An order number or proof of purchase is required.

5. Other Terms

  • Some branded products carry an additional manufacturer's warranty; this warranty does not affect it
  • This warranty is a repair/replacement service and does not include refunds or returns
  • This warranty does not affect your statutory rights under Hong Kong law (including the Sale of Goods Ordinance)
  • After a repair or replacement, the warranty period still runs for 180 days from the original delivery date and is not reset
  • In case of any dispute, Chill Garden reserves the right of final decision
